A little late --but otherwise as promised last month--MasterCard has announced that its MoneySend service is now available in the U.S. The service lets customers send and receive funds by text message, by a mobile Web browser, a mobile app, or over the Internet from a PC. The service is powered by Obopay, and lets users register once and then use it multiple times to transfer funds to and from family and friends. MasterCard is hoping that customers will want a mobile, secure payment method
