WASHINGTON (AP) -- Veterans Affairs employees last year racked up hundreds of thousands of dollars in government credit-card bills at casino and luxury hotels, movie theaters and high-end retailers such as Sharper Image and Franklin Covey -- and government auditors are investigating, citing past spending abuses.

It's every Internet user's worst nightmare. Simon Bunce of Hampshire, England, not only had his credit-card number stolen online but was arrested and falsely accused of being a pedophile when that card number was used to buy child pornography.

Several letters to the editors were posted today in the WSJ in response the article Credit Card Wars. Those writing in are sharing that the interchange fee charged by credit card companies to businesses that accept credit cards is truly against the free market system and are in fact hurting both consumers and small businesses at the same time.
